Samples identified by position in the Product's sample list, counting from 1. A number greater than the Product's sample size is rejected.

Samples identified by their sampleName on the Product. Each name must match one of the Product's samples: names are checked against the samples sent in the same request when the request carries the Product, and against the Product's stored samples otherwise.

Unit of measure of data for these samples, such as in, mm or ppm. Free text: it is not checked against a list of units, no conversion is applied, and data is stored exactly as sent. Leading and trailing spaces are removed, and an empty value means no unit. The unit is stored as sent, even when the Test Condition has a different unit configured on Inspectorio. Not the same field as the Product's unit, which is the unit of its sample size.
