Retrieve Inspections, Reports, and CAPA

Besides sending data to Inspectorio, you can pull the data generated on the platform back into your own systems, for example to feed your ERP, BI, or data warehouse. This guide lists the endpoints for reading bookings, assignments, inspections, reports, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and factory risk profiles, and how to sync them efficiently.

Before you start

Generate an API key for your organization and use it to authenticate your API requests.

Choose the right endpoint

DataListGet oneUseful list filters
BookingsList BookingsGet Bookingstatus, created_from/created_to, updated_from/updated_to
AssignmentsList AssignmentsGet Assignmentassignment_status, expected_inspection_date_from/_to, factory_country
InspectionsList InspectionsGet Inspectionownership (required), status, created_*, updated_*
ReportsList ReportsGet Reportstatus, capa_status, inspection_date_from/_to, updated_*, style_id
CAPA–Get CAPA (by report ID)–
Factory risk profilesList Factory Risk ProfilesGet Factory Risk Profiledate_from and date_to (required)

Check each endpoint page for the complete list of parameters and the response schema.

Inspections

The List Inspections endpoint requires the ownership parameter, with one of the values sent, received, or shared. To retrieve all three, send one request per value.

Date filters must be sent in pairs, for example both updated_from and updated_to. When you get a single inspection, add include_pull_sample=1 to include the item pull sample.

Reports and CAPA

To export completed inspection reports, list them with status=completed and a date range, then get each report by its ID. To retrieve the corrective and preventive actions of a report, call Get CAPA with the report ID.

curl --url "https://sight.inspectorio.com/api/v1/reports?status=completed&updated_from=2026-09-01T00:00:00Z&updated_to=2026-09-02T00:00:00Z&limit=100" \
--header "apiKey: <YOUR_API_KEY>"

List Reports also supports system_updated_from and system_updated_to, which include both actions by your users and actions taken by Inspectorio on your behalf. List Reports accepts a limit of up to 200.

Sync efficiently

  • Schedule a regular job, for example daily, that pulls only the records updated since the last run, using the updated_from and updated_to filters.
  • Page through the results with limit and offset. See Pagination.
  • Use the list endpoint to find what changed, and the get endpoint only for the records whose full details you need.
  • Stay within the concurrency limits. See Concurrency.
  • To be notified about changes instead of polling, check which events are available as Webhooks.
